Biography

Tamara Rahma Widowati, originally from Kediri and raised in Malang, Indonesia, is a dedicated professional and academic in industrial engineering, specializing in industrial management and operations engineering.

She is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Universitas Negeri Malang, where she teaches and mentors undergraduate students in areas such as organizational systems, productivity analysis, and industrial operations. Tamara integrates practical insight with academic theory, emphasizing the application of performance measurement tools and sustainability principles in industrial systems.

Prior to her academic appointment in 2024, Tamara gained valuable professional experience in the human resources division of a transportation technology startup from 2021 to 2023. There, she was actively involved in organizational development initiatives and workforce system optimization.

Tamara holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Industrial Management. Her research interests include performance measurement, which is a systematic process of evaluating organizational or individual performance using measurable indicators to support decision-making and continuous improvement, and productivity analysis, which measures the efficiency of resource utilization in generating outputs with the aim of enhancing competitiveness and operational effectiveness.

Through her work, she is committed to fostering competent industrial engineers equipped to contribute to sustainable and efficient industrial practices in Indonesia.
