Prof. Dr. Sukarni, S.T., M.T.
Biography
Sukarni, a distinguished Professor of Fuel and Combustion Technology, hails from Tulungagung, Indonesia. Her extensive academic journey is rooted in mechanical engineering.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Brawijaya in 1996, followed by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2003. Sukarni completed her doctoral studies, receiving her Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universitas Brawijaya in 2014.
Currently, Sukarni is a prominent Lecturer in the Doctoral Program for Mechanical Engineering at Universitas Negeri Malang. Beyond her teaching, she has held significant professional roles, including Head of the Mechanical Engineering Program. Her commitment to fostering innovation is evident through her mentorship of the Economic Car Research Team and her role as Mentor of the Center for Renewable Fuel Research.
Professor Sukarni’s primary research area is Fuel and Combustion Technology, where her contributions are advancing the understanding and application of energy conversion processes.
