Rudi Nurdiansyah, S.T., M.T., Ph.D.
Biography
Rudi Nurdiansyah was born in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, and a Doctoral degree from the Institute of Industrial Engineering, National Taiwan University.
His professional and academic journey has been shaped by a strong interest in mathematical modeling and systems optimization. His research primarily focuses on optimization models and algorithms, particularly in the area of heuristics and metaheuristics applied to complex industrial problems.
In 2018, he received the Best Paper Award at the Advances in Production Management Systems (APMS) Conference, held in Seoul, South Korea in August — a recognition of his contributions to the field of production and operations management.
Rudi continues to engage in research, teaching, and collaborative projects in the field of industrial systems optimization, aiming to bridge theory and real-world industrial applications.
